Data Processing & Consent Policy

This Policy explains the roles and responsibilities of everyone handling personal data on LeadHub, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Obligations of Lead Providers

By uploading a Lead you confirm that you have a lawful basis to share that contact information, that the person was informed their details may be shared with businesses who may contact them, and that you can produce evidence of this if asked.

You must remove a Lead immediately if the person withdraws consent, and you must tell us so we can restrict any copies already sold.

3. Obligations of Lead Consumers

Once you unlock a Lead you decide how you use that contact information, and you become responsible for it. That means you must honour opt-out requests, keep the data secure, delete it when you no longer need it, and be able to tell the person where you obtained their details if they ask.

4. Consent we record

We record, for each user: which version of the Terms and Privacy Policy was accepted, the date and time, and the IP address used. You can request a copy of your consent record at any time.

5. If a contact objects to being listed

Anyone whose details appear on this Platform may write to our Grievance Officer. We will:

1. Acknowledge within 24 hours.
2. Suspend the listing while we investigate.
3. Ask the Lead Provider to produce their lawful basis.
4. Where none is produced, remove the listing permanently, notify buyers to delete the data, and act against the Provider.

6. International transfers

Data is stored in India. Where a service provider processes data outside India, we require contractual safeguards consistent with Indian law.
